Photoshop tutorial for noobs by a noob.

I had several friends ask me for tips on getting started with doing art in photoshop so I figured I would try to make some videos. This first one is super long because I was just covering all the things I considered the basics as far as how I use the program. Also, it has awful audio and I forgot to turn the cursor zoom off while recording. Can't win em all. All the rest will be much shorter though.

Environments

One of the things I need a lot more practice with is concepting environments. Hoping to start doing more of these and also fleshing some out to full pieces.

2013. Let's do this.

Well with the world failing to end it looks like I can keep posting! I have yet to do any personal work in the new year so far, but that should be fixed soon. 2013 has the potential to be a very big year for me. I now am part of a small independent game development company based near my hometown. While I can't yet speak of the first project, the content and material I will be drawing is a perfect match for what I like to do, so it should be fun!

This was done as practice and laid out to fit my facebook cover.
